Our LCD TV expert James looks at the LG 42LD450 42 inch LCD TV to find out if it is as good as LG says it is and how it compares to other LCD TVs. Having written a few reviews for LCD TVs on this site I was keen to discover if the 42LD450 42 inch LCD TV was as good as a few people were saying. The LG LCD TV was really simple to setup and using it was pretty intuitive. The component quality of the LCD TV seems OK. This is a LCD TV that that should be relatively future proof with full HD ready technology. The picture quality is very good although not truly exceptional. LG have established themselves in the UK LCD TV market and this is one of their best offerings. At a cost of £433.99 (March 2010) it seems a like a very good value LCD TVs.
